Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment joins Joe Gibbs Racing as a minority partner

Joe Gibbs founded Joe Gibbs Racing in 1992. The team has since collected 401 wins across the NASCAR National Series including 204 in the NASCAR Cup Series.

The team currently fields four full-time cars in the NASCAR Cup Series. Denny Hamlin (No. 11), Martin Truex Jr (No. 19), Christopher Bell (No. 20) and Ty Gibbs (No 54) fill the current roster.

Today, the team announced they have sold a minority stake in the NASCAR team. Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) and Arctos Partners join the new ownership group of the North Carolina based operation.

In the deal, Joe Gibbs is also set to become a partner at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, pending NBA and NHL approval.
