Noah Gragson released from Legacy Motor Club

NASCAR driver Noah Gragson has lost his ride with Legacy Motor Club

Last week, Noah Gragson was abruptly suspended by NASCAR as well as Legacy Motor Club. The NASCAR Cup Series driver liked an insensitive meme featuring George Floyd.

Gragson was also suspended by his team, Legacy Motor Club. The team is co-owned by 7-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

The suspension from NASCAR as well as the team are both indefinite.

There’s a path back to the sport which includes sensitivity training. Elton Sawyer spoke on this earlier this week, “I’m sure that Noah will learn from this. That’s what we’re hoping. As well as the folks at Legacy Motor Club, will do everything to get him on the right path to get him in a good spot to come back and compete at a high level.”

Mike Rockenfeller has signed to drive the No. 42 for the next two events. The 2-time 24 Hours of Lemans winner will race for the team this weekend at Indianapolis as well as Watkins Glen.

Rumors began to circulate that Legacy Motor Club released Gragson from the team. On Thursday, that was confirmed…
