Kyle Busch sent his PR lady to do the talking, at first
Kyle Busch is in his 21st season of full-time NASCAR Cup Series competition. When he first met his future wife, the driver had four race wins. But for someone who was attending their first race, he was just a guy in the parking lot of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Around 2007, Kyle Busch first met his future wife, Samantha Busch who working a Chevrolet promo. He sent his PR lady to ask if she wanted a ride.
16 years later, the couple are something of the brangelina of the NASCAR world.
Busch has collected 63 wins and 2 NASCAR Cup Series championships along the way. He currently drivers for Richard Childress Racing with sights set on the record books.

“How did Kyle and I meet is one of the most asked questions I get – so here’s the story!”
“16 years ago (this Indy weekend) the promo model agency I worked for sent me down to Indianapolis to work for Chevy getting people hyped up for the races. I was going into my senior year of college at Purdue at the time, a sorority girl and no big surprise not the sportiest of types. So I can honestly say it was my first time at a race track!”
“The day started really early and there was a big group of us all in black Chevy tees that got assigned to various tasks. Mine was to hype people up to go for ride alongs in a Chevy Impala around the track.”
“I remember it being crazy hot out so when a nice lady came to me when my line was done and asked if I wanted to go for a ride the thought of AC had me running before even registering going fast.”

“Now to tell Kyle’s side of the story he saw me from afar and asked his pr lady to ask if I wanted a ride,” Samantha Busch said.
“So needless to say I hopped in the car and the first thing I said when I saw him in his Chevy tee and ice cold car was ‘wow you got a way better assignment then I did.’ He looked at me funny assuming I knew who he was and we were off.”
“I did most of the talking, big surprise, and then invited him to hang out with a group of us going out that night to which he declined bc he had to work. Little did I know he had a truck race. So I thought that was the end of that until Mr. Shy had someone ask me for my number.”
“Fast forward and remember Facebook had just started, texting was still pressing one button three times to get to the letter c, so social stalking wasn’t available. My friends Dad who overheard me telling her the story was actually the one who figured out that it was Kyle!”
“Then I got super nervous so we talked on the phone for 4 months before seeing each other and going on a date and the rest is history!”
“Fast forward another 16 years and here we are with 2 kids! Love ya babe”
