On lap 216 of 267, Ty Gibbs lost a right front wheel. The nut came off first indicating this wasn’t a parts malfunction but instead an error on the previous pit stop.
Today, NASCAR announced the suspension of two crew members for the No. 54 team.
Earlier this week, Ryan Blaney was disqualified after failing post-race inspection. That penalty has since been rescinded after NASCAR discovered an issue with their inspection process.
