Las Vegas Starting Lineup: October 2023 (NASCAR Cup Series)

Kyle Larson pulls to the pit lane early in practice with what he thinks is a tire issue. Seconds later, his teammate Chase Elliott is in the wall with heavy damage.

Daniel Suarez blew a right rear off turn two during practice. He slid across the track and slammed the inside tire barrier.

Elliott and Suarez will not take part in qualifying.

The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying. The top 5 from each group advance into the final round and make another run for the pole.
