Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 80 (1-80 / 267)

Green flag, Wallace clears Truex Jr with a slider. Truex Jr crosses him and they form side by side once more at the front. After 3 laps, Wallace finally wins the battle.

Lap 12, Truex Jr slides Wallace for the lead.

Lap 20, Byron hugs the inside lane. He clears Truex Jr, Byron to the lead.

Lap 42, the pit cycle is complete. Keselowski leads Larson by 1 second.

Lap 54, Larson looks under Keselowski in the battle for the lead. They trade side drafts down the back. Larson rolls the bottom in turn three and takes the lead away off turn four.

Lap 75, Ricky Stenhouse Jr tags the turn two wall and spins off the corner. The caution is out.

Green flag in stage two, Keselowski drives it deep to the bottom in turn one. Larson fights back on the outside lane. Larson holds the lead.

Lap 125, the green flag pit cycle is complete. Larson leads Keselowski by 4 seconds.

5 to go in stage two, Larson is struggling with lap traffic. Blaney is closing fast. Larson slides the lap car of Suarez but he can’t clear him. Blaney works inside of Larson.

3 to go, Blaney slides Larson for the lead!

Green flag on stage three, Blaney and Byron run side by side for the lead off turn two. Blaney finally clears him.

54 to go, Blaney and Larson head for the pit lane at the same time. Larson closes quickly under braking! Larson nearly runs into the bumper of Blaney. He’s forced to turn right and avoid him but he runs right into the sand barrels! The caution is out!

Green, Blaney and Hamlin run side by side for the lead. Hamlin clears him off turn two. Ross Chastain, JJ Yeley and John Hunter Nemechek tangle behind them, caution.

Green, Blaney and Hamlin run side by side off turn two. Bell has a run on both of them, Bell dives inside and makes it three wide for the lead into turn three! Hamlin and Blaney rub doors as Bell takes the lead!

32 to go, Hamlin is in the turn one wall with a mechanical failure! The caution is out.

Martin Truex Jr heads for the pit lane with what could be a blown engine.

Bell leads the field to the pit lane. Byron wins the race to the pit exit.

Green, Byron and Blaney run side by side for the lead. A lap later, Byron drives it deep into turn he, slides him, Byron leads off turn two. Bell takes 2nd away.

17 to go, Bell is on the bumper of Byron in the battle for the lead.

16 to go, Bell looks under Byron. They run side by side for the lead. Bell clears him via the inside lane off turn two.

7 to go, Blaney slides Byron for 2nd. Bell leads Blaney by 1.4 seconds.
