Trey Poole will be the primary spotter for the No. 9 team in 2024
Trey Poole has signed with Hendrick Motorsports. He’ll serve as the new spotter of the No. 9 car with driver Chase Elliott.
Poole is a cousin of Elliott.
He’s previously worked as a secondary spotter for the No. 9 team. Teams use multiple spotters on road courses.
Poole also worked as the interim spotter back in 2021.
Eddie D’Hondt was the spotter for Elliott last season. Recently, it was announced that he has moved to Stewart-Haas Racing.
