Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 70 (1-70 / 400)
Green flag, Larson is clear before turn one. Elliott drives it deep his outside in turn three, Elliott to the lead off turn 4.
Lap 6, cars are using every lane on the track. Larson moves to the top and he’s found speed. Larson works to the right rear of Elliott, Larson to the lead.
Lap 31, the competition caution is out. Teams will now install dry weather tires as mandated by NASCAR.
Green, Larson and Wallace run side by side into turn one. They fight for space into turn three as Wallace pinches him down. After several laps, Larson finally clears him via the inside lane.
Lap 64, Josh Berry tags the left rear of Daniel Suarez for 9th into turn one. Suarez goes for a spin, caution.
Kyle Larson wins stage one as this one finishes under yellow at Richmond Raceway!

Green flag on stage two, Larson clears Wallace to hold the race lead.
Lap 151, Larson pits from the race lead. He’s on an opposite strategy of most of the field. Martin Truex Jr is handed the lead.
Lap 170, the caution is out as Kyle Busch tags the wall. This is a caution that Larson didn’t want.
Pit Penalties: Ty Gibbs and Ryan Preece drop to the rear.
Green, Truex Jr is clear before turn one. Josh Berry takes over 2nd.
Martin Truex Jr drives away to win stage two at Richmond Raceway!

Green flag on stage three, Truex Jr and Larson run side by side into turn one. Truex Jr wins the battle.
Lap 295, a green flag pit cycle is complete. Truex Jr cycles back to the lead with Larson and Hamlin on his bumper.
Pit Penalty: Bell will serve a pass-through penalty.
63 to go, green flag stops are underway once more. Larson cycles out ahead of Truex Jr.
61 to go, Truex Jr works inside of Larson. Truex Jr clears him and he’ll cycle to the lead once more.
53 to go, Truex Jr leads Larson by 1 second.
Larson is struggling with the handling. Joey Logano works by him, Logano runs 2nd.
20 to go
20 to go, Truex Jr leads Logano by 2 seconds. The leader works heavy lap traffic.
10 to go, Logano is closing quickly as Truex Jr struggles with lap traffic. Truex Jr leads by just .06 seconds.
2 to go, Kyle Larson gets loose and Bubba Wallace tags him off turn four to finish him off. Larson spins and the caution is out.
Truex Jr leads most of the leaders to the pit lane. Hamlin wins the race to the pit exit! Slow stop for Wallace.
Green in NASCAR Overtime, Hamlin and Truex Jr run side by side into turn one. Hamlin runs him wide off turn two. Hamlin clears him in turn 4.
1 to go, Logano dives inside of Truex Jr for 2nd.
