NASCAR issues another $25k fine

Kyle Weatherman has been fined $25,000 after the race at Portland International Raceway

Over the weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity Series raced at Portland International Raceway. And after the race, there was some pit road drama.

Kyle Weatherman ran into another car on the pit lane in frustration. NASCAR has responded by issuing a $25,000 fine.

This marks the second week in a row that an Xfinity Series driver has been fined to the tune of $25k.

Kyle Weatherman comments

“A driver and I got into it on pit road and I’m not ok with my actions,” Kyle Weatherman stated via social media.

“For that, I’m truly sorry. Honestly, embarrassed.”

“I’ve had a lot go on these past few weeks, family wise. I let some of my emotions from that translate to post-race stuff.”

He added, “I’m going to be better.”
