On Saturday night, NASCAR raced on the half-mile short track of Bristol Motor Speedway.
The NASCAR Cup Series race was a playoff elimination event. 4 of the 16 drivers were eliminated from the playoffs.
Ryan Blaney drove to a top 10 finish in the race. He also advance into the Round of 12.
After the race, Blaney crossed over the hauler entrance to the track. The grandstands sit above this area. When fans say Blaney walking below, he was offered a beer.
The Team Penske driver was thrown a Miller Lite. According to fans, shortly after the photo below was taken, Blaney chugged the can.
I’m sure it was the highlight of the night for the fans in the area because the race itself was horrible.

Dale Earnhardt Jr stayed in the pits well passed midnight drinking beer with various drivers
On Friday night, there was a similar story following the NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
Dale Earnhardt Jr made his return to NASCAR. Friday’s race at Bristol was his only start for the 2024 season.
Earnhardt Jr had a hard race with Ryan Truex at the end of the event. After crossing the checkered Jr asked, “Is he old enough to drink? We’ll have a cold beer for him.”
After the race, Earnhardt Jr brought beer to the pit area. It become tradition after Dale Jr drank beer on pit road following his last race as a full-time NCS driver, filling the deck lid with empty cans.
On Friday, various crew members and drivers including Ryan Truex and Sheldon Creed stayed around after the event. And that particular party went on well beyond midnight.
Hours into the pit road party, they ran out of beer. However, the staff from Bristol Motor Speedway pulled up with an entire drum of ice and cans, restocking the party.
“Drank beer on pit road till 2am. I think we got everything out of this evening we possibly could. Recommend 10 out of 10. Would come again,” Earnhardt Jr stated via social media on Sunday.
