Bret Holmes Racing has closed their doors
Bret Holmes Racing opened in 2016. The team began in the ARCA Menards Series before making the move to the NASCAR Truck Series.
The team is owned by 27-year-old Bret Holmes along with Stacy Holmes.
In 2021, they made the jump to the NCTS. Bret Holmes drove his own truck to the teams best finish of 3rd at Talladega Superspeedway in 2022.
Sam Mayer, Ty Dillon and Connor Mosack have also raced for the team at the Truck level.
Holmes is the 2020 ARCA Menards Series champion driver.
On Friday, the team announced they have closed their doors. They issued the following statement:

“As of today, Bret Holmes Racing has made the difficult decision to close our doors and will not be returning to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2024 or 2025 season,” the statement opened.
“To all of our fans, sponsors, friends, families – and most importantly our team – we thank you all for the support and commitment shown to BHR around every turn.”
“We appreciate each and every one of you for the roles you played in making each race day memorable.”
“Following the closing of BHR. Bret Holmes looks to continue racing in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.”
BHR has run 68 NASCAR Truck Series races.
