Kyle Larson backs out of Australian Supercars race

NASCAR driver Kyle Larson was set to race at Adelaide Parklands

NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson was scheduled to race with the Australian Supercars later this year. He has now pulled out of that event.

He would have raced at Adelaide Parklands as a wildcard entry in the Adelaide Grand Final come November. He was scheduled to race for PremiAir Racing.

In the same trip, he was sent to race an oval event via a sprintcar for Jason Pryde Motorsport.

It was the only Supercars event on the schedule that does not have a direct conflict with a NASCAR Cup Series event.

However, Larson has now stated that he has canceled those plans to race in Australia.

This decision comes shortly after Larson’s attempt at running the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 in the same day. It was the second year in a row that he attempted both races.

Unfortunately, he crashed out of the Indy 500. He then jumped on a jet from Indiana to North Carolina to catch the NASCAR race.
