Noah Gragson confronts Kevin Magnussen after San Diego (Video)

Kevin Magnussen dumped Noah Gragson in San Diego during his NASCAR debut

On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series raced in San Diego, California. It marked the debut race on the 3.4-mile track through Naval Base Coronado.

Former F1 driver Kevin Magnussen entered the race for his first NASCAR experience. He drove the No. 91 entry fielded by Trackhouse Racing.

Noah Gragson and Kevin Magnussen were involved in multiple incidents throughout the day. They traded fenders running outside the top 30 in stage two of the race.

Fast forward, with just 3 laps to go, Magnussen ended the on-track conversation. He gassed it up in the middle of the corner, tagging Gragson in the right rear.

Gragson spun around and went nose first into the wall. No caution was thrown and Gragson was done for the day.

After the race, Noah Gragson confronted Magnussen. He didn’t get much of a response…

Gragson asked, “Why did you wreck me?”

Magnussen responded, “Yeah. (Expletive) off.”

After the confrontation Magnussen told Frontstretch, “I’ve watched NASCAR before, so I know that’s how you guys play it.”
