Days of Thunder, starring Tom Cruise is an iconic film from the world of NASCAR. On it’s 1990 release, it brought in $157.9 million worldwide.
It’s been seen by the masses with the exception of Christopher Bell.
Bell has been racing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2020. He’s won 13 races in 237 starts. But, he hasn’t sat down to watch the movie.
NASCAR drivers give Bell a hard time for not seeing it
Chase Briscoe: “I know Christopher Bell’s never seen Days of Thunder so y’all need to give him a hard time about that.”
Kyle Larson: “That’s crazy! They have TVs in Oklahoma, I think. Christopher, he’s an interesting fella. And this makes him even more interesting. That’s wild.”
Carson Hocevar was asked about this as well. He went right to the source to confirm.
Bell responded, “I’ve seen bits and pieces of it. I’ve never seen it straight through.”
Hocevar added, “Come on. That should be a requirement for a hard card.”
