Watch the video below as the push truck driver drove over his tire and ripped the wing off

On Saturday night, the World of Outlaws races at Williams Grove Speedway. The half-mile dirt track in Mechanicsburg, PA paid $20,000 to the feature winner.

There was drama early.

Dirt Sprint Cars are not fitted with onboard starters. They use a direct-drive system that needs a push to get the car fired.

Tyler Ross was being pushed to the track for qualifying. Just feet after entering the track, the push truck driver drove over the right rear of the No. 5 car.

The wing on the car was ripped off in the damage. The damage was done to the car but nobody was injured in the incident.

Ross did not return to the track for his heat race later in the evening.

The feature has since concluded.
