Development driver for Richard Childress Racing climbs the ranks
Carson Brown is set to make his first start in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series at Iowa Speedway this weekend. He’ll drive the No. 32 car for Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport.
The 18-year-old driver is from New London, North Carolina. He is signed as a Richard Childress Racing development driver.
Brown picked up one win in his six ARCA Menards Series starts so far. That win came at Phoenix Raceway earlier this year.

“I’ve been fortunate to race with great teams, filled with really smart and driven people, who have prepared me for this moment,” Carson Brown stated in the team release.
“The O’Reilly Series is a big step, but it’s the right step and I’m definitely ready for it. It’s an awesome opportunity and I’m proud to be doing it with Chevrolet, Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport and Distributor Wire & Cable.”
This year, Brown is racing in the CARS Tour Late Model Stock division for Lee Pulliam Performance. He’s also racing on ASA STARS National Tour with Anthony Campi Racing where he’s picked up four wins in six races.
