Josh Berry currently races full-time for Wood Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. This is the second and final year with the team.
Berry is a former winner in the Cup Series. He went to victory lane last season with Wood Brothers Racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This year had a rough start. In twenty-three races so far this season, Berry has finished 16 of those races outside the top-25. However, in the last two weeks, he finished 7th at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and and 4th on Sunday at Iowa Speedway.
The 35-year-old is currently looking for a job in the 2027 season. Those discussions are ongoing and wide ranging…
Josh Berry comments on 2027
“We’ve had conversations,” Josh Berry told Motorsport.
“We’ve had good ones. We’ve had bad ones. We’ve had ones that we thought had potential. We had ones that we sat down and they asked for three million dollars, so it’s been a little bit of a challenge working through all of that.”
Berry added, “To be honest, I’m kind of to the point now where I can’t do much else other than just try to focus on Sundays and try to have days like we’ve had the last couple of weeks.”
Berry picked up four wins in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series with JR Motorsports between 2021-2023.
