NASCAR crew members ejected from Richmond Raceway

NASCAR has issued penalties ahead of the race at Richmond Raceway

Tomorrow night, the NASCAR Cup Series takes on Richmond Raceway. Before cars are allowed on the track, they must clear NASCAR inspection to ensure technical compliance with the rule book.

The cars of Christopher Bell and Cody Ware each failed inspection twice. They have both been issued a penalty.

Car chiefs have been ejected from both teams. They’ll also lose pit selection.

Both teams were able to pass inspection on their third attempt and avoid further penalties.

NASCAR Cup Series practice is currently underway. Qualifying will take place directly after the conclusion of practice.
