NASCAR crew member ejected from Darlington Raceway

Ryan Blaney has been issued a penalty ahead of the race at Darlington Raceway

NASCAR Cup Series drivers are on the grounds in Darlington, South Carolina. The 1.366-mile track is set to open the first race of The Chase this weekend.

Before cars can roll into Darlington raceway for practice they must clear inspection.

Blaney is one of the 16 Chase drivers.

Teams were scheduled to be on track at this moment. Track activity is currently on-hold due to lightning in the area.
