“Just need a lot of speed to keep up with the Toyota’s. You know, they’re about a half a second faster than the field right now,” Brad Keselowski stated in July.
He continued, “And it don’t look like NASCAR’s going to take whatever it is, away. So, we’ll figure it out.”
Now, his lobbying efforts continue…
Brad Keselowski vs Kyle Busch
Brad Keselowski: “We are all in for a rude awakening,” Brad Keselowski stated on twitter.
He continued. “Haven’t seen NASCAR let a manufacturer get this far ahead since the 70s.”
Kyle Busch responded moments later.
Kyle Busch: “STFU”
Brad Keselowski: “It’s 2017. When you’re about to lose an argument you call people names rather than face facts.”

Denny Hamlin
Denny Hamlin joined in the conversation as well. The Toyota driver and teammate to Kyle Busch spoke with Sirius XM NACSAR Radio.
“The keyword here is let,” Denny Hamlin tells the Toyota side of the story.
“NASCAR didn’t let us do anything. It’s hard work. That’s what’s so stupid about that statement. He thinks NASCAR let’s us win.”
“By the way… they should have let me win two weeks ago. Get real. I had an encumbered win two weeks ago. NASCAR ain’t letting us do anything.”

“How soon we forget. Right? Penske won half the races in the first 10 races of the season. ‘JGR sucks, Toyota’s terrible. Are they ever going to win a race?’ Now all the sudden, NASCAR is giving us something and we’re way faster. Get real”
“Give us facts. Don’t just say dumb statements.”

Is Brad Keselowski a great spokesperson for Toyota?
“Amazing,” Denny Hamlin confirms.
“He keeps saying how much faster the Toyota’s are than the Ford Fusion he’s driving. If you’re shopping for a mid-sized sedan, I mean, take the unfair advantage. Grab a Toyota Camry.”
Rick Mast: “Old AllWaltrip used to be the best at stirring up stuff vocally BUT the RCRracing bunch with Dale Sr. was best at mind games. #Playoffs”
Could it be playoff mind games?
“He ain’t that smart,” Denny Hamlin responds.
“I think he’s just off. I think he’s panic’d probably. He’s just trying to lobby. But the bed’s ben made.
