Retaliation under yellow results in rolled racecar at WhyNot Motorsports Park in Fall Classic
There was more drama over the weekend…
Over the weekend, WhyNot Motorsports Park hosted their final night of the season in Meridian, Mississippi. It was the 23rd Annual Coors Light Fall Classic, paying $15,000 to the super late model feature winner.
Cade Dillard and Jack Sullivan were involved in an incident at WhyNot Motorsports Park. A yellow flag was thrown.
Under caution, Dillard came back around. Sullivan took a running start, aiming directly at the nose of Dillard.
Seeing red, Sullivan went backwards on track, under yellow. It all went wrong. The left front end of these dirt late model noses can become an effective scoop, it did.

With a running start, Sullivan hit the nose of Dillard. That lifted him up, Dillard slide over and across the hood of Sullivan. As he approached the roof, the car was turned over as it rolled off Sullivan. Dillard landed on his lid.

Safety crews flipped the car back to it’s feet. It got worse. Fans yelled, “Kick his ass!”
A crew member from the Sullivan crew leaned into the right side window. Not soon after, Cade climbed from his car. He stood on the door to see the crew was already fighting. Signal sticks went flying through the air.

Cade ran into the scene and began throwing punches as well. Drivers and crew ended up on their backs. Moments later, officials had calmed the tempers.
