Danica Patrick: “I don’t really care what anybody thinks”

There’s a new side to Danica Patrick as she heads into what could be here final NACSAR start

Dale Earnhardt Jr and Matt Kenseth will run their final race this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. At the same time, there’s another driver who may or may not be retiring.

Danica Patrick could possible run her NASCAR last race on Sunday. In September, it was announced that Patrick would not return to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2018. She’s still looking but has yet to find a ride for 2018.

The situation has bought out a new side of Danica Patrick. As she explains below…

“I know at the track I have this awful mean face,” Danica Patrick states in the new EPIX documentary. It was sorta this ‘grrr’ face.”

“I didn’t want people to think that I was ok with 4th, or 8th or 10th. I wanted them to know that I was fricking serious. And I was serious about winning.”

Danica has changed her appearance in recent months. At the track and in interviews. It’s a notably less-reserved Danica Patrick. Not just in what she says, but in her appearance as well.

“The new arrival for me is pure f’ing honesty. I don’t really care what anybody thinks. I don’t care if someone hates me. I don’t care if they know that I hate them.”
