Comp Cams adds $7,000 bonus to Gateway Dirt Nationals
Engine builders will also see rewards from COMP Cams program
ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Just as racing season settles in for the winter, it is the time of year that the VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals begins to heat up. Less than a month away, the December 14th-16th event just got bigger with the support of COMP Cams throwing in an additional $5,000 in cash for race teams and $2,000 in product certificates for engine builders.
The “COMP Cams Cash Bonus”, part of the events overall contingency program, will be optional for teams competing at the event and will show a variety of benefits for both Super Late Model teams & Engine builders, as well as Open Wheel Modified teams & Engine builders.
Here is how it works:
SUPER LATE MODEL
(Optional participation)
-Spoiler graphic – Provided to teams onsite that are choosing to participate. May be installed on front of spoiler or the back of spoiler. The wrap will cover the entire surface of the spoiler and will need to be displayed for the duration of the weekend event.
-$2,500 – Cash Bonus going to the highest finisher that is participating in the program
-$500 – Product certificate to that car’s engine builder
-$1,000 – Cash Bonus going to participating competitor randomly selected from Qualifying
-$500 – Product certificate to that car’s engine builder
OPEN WHEEL MODIFIED
(Optional participation)
Contingency decals – Standard COMP Cams contingency decals will need to be represented on each side of the race car.
-$1,000 – Cash Bonus going to the highest finisher that is participating in the program
