This week, NASCAR goes restrictor plate racing. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series will unload at the 2.66-mile high banked Talladega Superspeedway which broke ground 49 years ago.

The Talladega, Alabama track will feature action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.The NASCAR Xfinity Series race will be presented by a drivers only broadcast team. The 188-lap GEICO 500 will cap off the weekend on Sunday featuring the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series field.
