NASCAR All-Star tv schedule and race format information; $1 million to the race winner
This weekend, $1 million is up for grabs to the stars of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts the NASCAR All-Star Race in Charlotte, North Carolina.

NASCAR All-Star Race: Menu

How drivers are eligible for the All-Star Race: They are a 2018/2019 winner in a points-paying race, a past All-Star Race winner, a past Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion or the Fan Vote winner.
Three drivers can advance from the Monster Energy Open which leads into the All-Star race. The Open race features three stages of 20, 20 and 10 laps. Each stage winner will transfer into the All-Star race.
NASCAR All-Star Race Qualifying: We’ll see single car qualifying with a pit stop included. Pit road will lack a speed limit in qualifying.
2019 Charlotte All-Star Race Format: The race will see four stages, unlike other races on the schedule. Stage 1 is 30 laps, Stage 2 is 20 laps, Stage 3 is 20 laps and Stage 4 is 15 laps.
Green and yellow flag laps will count in the first three stages, In the final stage, only green flag laps count. The final stage is also 5 laps longer than the previous year’s event.
NASCAR All-Star Race Rules Package: The race will be run with the 550hp engine package. Aero ducts will be fitted as well.
New elements for the NASCAR All-Star race include a two step splitter and a hood duct. Both of these elements are being tested and could be used on the Generation 7 car in 2021.
