Las Vegas TV Ratings: March 2021 (NASCAR Weekend)

NASCAR tv viewership for Las Vegas Motor Speedway and every race in 2021

Over the weekend, NASCAR landed in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 1.5-mile track hosted a triple-header weekend featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series.

Kyle Larson drove it to victory lane in the NASCAR Cup Series division. The win was his first with Hendrick Motorsports.

Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race brought 4,358,000 viewers to their screens. The race claimed a household rating of 2.57.

In the past several week, NASCAR was the most-viewed sporting event on television. However, this week, they were up against the NBA All-Star game. The basketball game brought 4,665,000 viewers, about 300,000 more viewers than NASCAR and won the weekend for the NBA.

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas is down slightly from late February race in 2021. It’s also down from March 2019 numbers.

Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race was shown via FS1. That race had 1,279,000 viewers with a rating of 0.72.

Friday’s NASCAR Truck Series race was also broadcast via FS1. The Las Vegas Truck race had 566,000 viewers with a rating of 0.34.
