NASCAR penalty report from Richmond Raceway; Suspension issued
On Saturday, the short track of Richmond Raceway hosted a double-header race day featuring the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. It was a Playoff race for the NASCAR Cup Series.
Martin Truex Jr drove to victory lane. After the race, the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 team has been fined for a lugnut violation.
Additionally, the Spire Motorsports No. 77 team was found with two loose lugnuts. Per the rules, that lands a $20,000 fine in addition to a crew chief suspension.
A third Xfinity Series fine brings the weekend total to $35,000 in fines issued after Richmond Raceway.

Penalty: Crew chief ( Kevin Bellicourt ) has been fined $20,000 and suspended for one race due to two loose lug nuts.
