Bullring dirt track listed with farming land
Trail-Way Speedway has been in operation for 49 consecutive years. The track sits just an hour and a half out of the Baltimore/Washington areas.
Track Location: 100 Speedway Ln. Hanover, PA 17331
Armin Hostetter opened the track as a horse racing facility. That transformed to motorcycle events and later led to auto racing. Today, 358 sprint cars are the headlining class on a weekly show.
The track is currently a bullring 1/3-mile dirt oval. However, it’s a mixed use property and the track itself sits on just 30 acres.
232 acres zoned under permitted and special exception uses. Possible uses include campgrounds, recreational uses, parks, single family housing and a variety of agribusiness uses.
Property includes: 2,400 square foot, 2 story office, double farmhouse converted into 3 apartments and access to public gas and water, 2 separate sheds, and one 2 story farmhouse.
The track is heading into it’s 50th year of operation. However, the owners are looking toward retirement.
