Kyle Busch is set to drive the No. 8 for RCR in the 2023 NASCAR season
All last year, Joe Gibbs Racing was highly engaged in a sponsorship search to replace Mars Inc following their departure from the sport. However, they were unable to locate a replacement which sent Kyle Busch out the door to look for new opportunities.

For 2023, Kyle Busch will drive the No. 8 for Richard Childress Racing. After 15 years with JGR and Toyota, the two-time NASCAR Champion will now drive a Chevrolet.
Busch will run a wide variety of paint schemes in the 2023 season. Back in December, the team released the Alsco and Cheddar’s paint schemes.

Now, a third paint scheme has been released. On New Year’s day, RCR and MGM pulled the tarp off the BetMGM No. 8 car.
Fans were quick to notice a major change to the windshield. Drivers last names are installed on the upper portion of the windshield. Yet, for Kyle and Kurt Busch both drivers used their full names on the windshield.
However, following a crash at Pocono, Kurt Busch announced his retirement from full-time racing. Kyle will now be the only Busch in the field, the windshield change reflects that.
