The No. 54 car was formerly the No. 18 driven by Kyle Busch. Busch has signed with Richard Childress Racing after a 15-year career at JGR.

Ty Gibbs is the grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs. He’s won 11 Xfinity Series races in just 51 starts.

Earlier this month, Interstate Batteries announced their continued support of Joe Gibbs Racing. The company has been a supporter of the team since their inception in 1992.

Interstate Batteries will sponsor all four JGR cars throughout the 2023 season. The four teams will have a rotation of Interstate schemes. For the famed Daytona 500, Ty Gibbs will run an Interstate Batteries livery.

And it looks like a beauty.

Ty Gibbs is also sponsored by Monster Energy. The company has fueled Gibbs throughout his career.

Both companies use a similar color green in their schemes. And that’s created a perfect pairing. Gibbs is set to run a scheme infusing Interstate Batteries and Monster Energy, in one.

A number of NASCAR paint schemes have leaked ahead of the 2023 season. In recent seasons, team shops were closed to fans. Since they’ve opened back up, the normal supply of leaked photos from team shops have surfaced.

The 20-year-old won the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship last season. Just hours later, he tragically lost his father.
