23XI Racing will also remain with Toyota
Denny Hamlin has signed a multi-year contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing. He’ll remain the pilot of the No. 11 in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Last year, Joe Gibbs Racing was unable to secure sponsorship to keep Kyle Busch at JGR. Until yesterday, rumors circulated that Hamlin was heading in the same direction. However, Hamlin previously stated, “his ask, was his ask,” referring to Busch.
Hamlin was able to avoid a similar situation.
The 42-year-old is currently in his 19th year of NASCAR Cup Series competition. He’s claimed 50 wins in 641 starts

”Joe Gibbs Racing has been my home for almost 20 years now,” said Denny Hamlin.
”My relationship with Joe (Gibbs), my team, and everyone at JGR means a lot to me. We have accomplished so much together over the years. I’m excited to finally announce this so we can put all our focus on chasing the championship.”
Additionally, 23XI Racing will remain with Toyota.
“That was a big part of this process, for sure,” Hamlin said of 23XI Racing.
“What this means is that 23XI will continue its relationship with Toyota into the future. Nothing really changes. We’re going to continue on the path that we’ve been on.”
“It was my goal to make that a championship organization within five years. We’re going to continue on that trajectory. I think that we’re in a good spot; our relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing is in a good spot. This solidifies all those deals as done.”
