Both Kyle Busch and Ty Gibbs blew a tire during the brief practice session. Busch plans to fix his machine while Gibbs has unloaded the backup car.
The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying. The top 5 from each group advance into round two and turn a second lap in a battle for the pole position.
