Race Report
Green flag, they run side by side for the lead off turn two. Four cars tangle behind them, caution.
Green, Preece has momentum off the high side of turn two. Preece is clear into turn three.
Lap 54, Dave Sapienza spins off turn four, caution.
Preece and many of the leaders head for the pit lane. Patrick Emerling wins the race to the pit exit.
Green, Emerling and Matt Hirschman run side by side for the lead. Emerling wins the battle via the inside lane.
Lap 64, Craig Lutz gets sideways into turn one. Six cars stack up tangle behind him, caution. Austin Beers and Eric Berndt pick up heavy damage.
Green, Emerling runs Hirschman wide into turn three, Emerling holds the lead.
Lap 73, Bryan Narducci gets loose, over corrects and slams into the outside wall down the backstretch and Kyle Bonsignore launches over the top of him. The red flag is out.
Green, Emerling holds the lead into turn three.
Lap 88, Brandon Ward spins, caution.
Emerling and many of the leaders head for the pit lane. Ryan Preece stays out and returns to the lead.
Green, Preece clears Justin Bonsignore before turn one.
Lap 112, Dave Sapienze spins and turn one, caution.
Race leader Ryan Preece heads for the pit lane. Justin Bonsignore wins the race to the pit exit. Slow stop for Preece and he’ll restart 9th. Tommy Catalano and Bobby Labonte take over the front row as they stayed out.
Green, Catalano and Labonte run side by side at the front. Catalano clears Labonte via the inside lane off turn four.
Lap 119
Lap 119, multiple cars tangle deeper in the field, caution.
Green, Catalano runs Labonte wide in turn three to hold the lead. As they return to turn one, Emerling dives inside of Catalano. Emerling returns to the lead.
Lap 133, Brandon Ward spins, caution.
Catalano heads for the pit lane. Emerling and Justin Bonsignore are on the front row.
Green, Emerling clears Bonsignore in turn three. Ryan Preece follows him through and takes over 2nd.
Lap 139, Preece dives inside of Emerling in turn three. They make light contact. A lap later, Preece completes the pass. Ryan Preece returns to the lead.
Lap 149, Craig Lutz is in the outside wall, caution. Lutz shows displeasure with Dave Sapienza under caution.
Green, Preece gets the jump and he’s clear before turn one. Justin Bonsignore leans on the bumper of Preece but Preece holds the lead.
24 to go, Dave Sapienze and Eric Goodale tangle, caution.
Green Preece clears Bonsignore off turn two. Emerling works inside of Bonsignore into turn three. Bonsignore pinches Emerling, Emerling gets sidways and nearly spins as they return to turn one. Bonsignore holds 2nd.
10 to go, Preece leads Justin Bonsignore by 0.75 seconds.
