Frankie Muniz makes plans for Daytona

The racing driver is set to announce a deal today which will place him in Daytona come February

Frankie Muniz was once the star actor in Malcolm in the Middle. Now, at 38-years-old he’s been climbing the racing ladder.

See below as Muniz teases the official announcement.

Last season, Muniz drove full-time for Rette Jones Racing in the ARCA Menards Series. He finished 4th in the standings despite a string of mechanical failures late in the season.

In November, rumors surfaced that he would be driving for RSS Racing with G-Coin as the sponsor. However, he shot that rumor down on social media with a simple, “No.”

Now, Muniz is set to release his plans for 2024. He took to social media to confirm…

Muniz updated, “See y’all in Daytona Feb 17th.”

On December 17th, Daytona International Speedway will host the ARCA Menards Series as well as the NASCAR Xfinity Series. So, the deal for Muniz will be in one of those two divisions.

Muniz had a best-finish of 5th in the ARCA Menards Series which he claimed at Michigan International Speedway. He’s yet to compete in any NASCAR Xfinity Series events.

Last week, the ARCA Menards Series hosted a pre-race practice session at Daytona International Speedway. Muniz did not take part in the practice. Which likely points to an Xfinity deal.

Today, Ford Performance has an announcement video schedule. That video will begin at 7:00pm ET and is set to make several announcements. Where Muniz will be driving is one of those announcements.
