Mojo Nixon has passed

NASCAR personality and musician Mojo Nixon has died while on a cruise

There won’t be another like Mojo Nixon (Neill Kirby McMillan Jr.). Born in North Carolina, he became a psychobilly musician, releasing his first album ‘Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper’ in 1985.

He went on to release 16 albums. His most recent was titled ‘Whiskey Rebellion’ in 2009. He’s well-known for his 1987 song ‘Elvis Is Everywhere’.

He also appeared in 8 films including ‘Super Mario Bros.’.

Race fans will know Nixon as a fellow race fan. He hosted a radio show via Sirius XM NASCAR Radio titled ‘Manifold Destiny’. He also hosted a show on the Outlaw Country channel.

He died due to a cardiac event on Wednesday while aboard the Outlaw Country Cruise where he was performing. The ship was docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Mojo Nixon passed at age 66.
