Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 65 (1-65 / 200)

Green flag, they run even into turn one and off turn two. Christopher Bell shoves on the outside lane and Logano leads lap 1.

Lap 5, John Hunter Nemechek gets sideways off a bump draft from Brad Keselowski. Nemechek dances across the track into Harrison Burton. Burton and Carson Hocevar side through the tri-oval! Burton comes back across the track and he collects Austin Dillon, Jimmie Johnson, Kraz Grala and Ryan Preece.

Most of the field heads for the pit lane. Bell and Blaney stay out.

Lap 33, Blaney breaks out to the lead with Bell on his bumper.

Lap 40, Cindric shoves Logano to the lead. Logano, Cindric, Blaney and others dive for the pit lane. Michael McDowell takes over the lead.

Lap 45, Elliott to the lead. The field has formed single-file around the outside lane.

Lap 55, Elliott leads the rest of the field to the pit lane.

Chase Elliott wins stage one!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 65 (66-130 / 200)

Pit Penalty: Kyle Busch drops to the rear with a pit violation.

Kyle Larson cycles to the race lead.

Green flag on stage two, Larson and Berry run side by side for the lead. Logano leads a huge run from lane three. Logano powers to the lead as they roll into turn three.

Lap 93, Martin Truex Jr shoves Todd Gilliland to the lead.

Lap 109, Kyle Busch shoves Bubba Wallace to the lead. Wallace drops to the bottom and Busch drives by on the outside, Busch to the lead.

Lap 111, green flag stops are underway. Josh Berry gets spun on the pit lane after contact with John Hunter Nemechek.

14 to go in stage two, Larson cycles to the race lead.

10 to go, Busch and Cindric form side by side as they clear Larson. Both lanes are running toward the top of the track with the bottom lane wide open.

1 to go, Blaney shoves Cindric to the lead. Just as he does, Blaney leaves his bumper in turn three and heads for the bottom lane. Blaney to the lead!

Blaney wins stage two at Daytona International Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 70 (131-200 / 200)

Blaney leads the field to the pit lane. Cindric wins the race to the pit exit. Trouble for Kyle Busch as he left his pit box without the wheel nut attached.

Pit Penalty: Suarez will drop to the rear after pit stop interference.

Green flag on stage three, Cindric and Wallace run side by side for the lead.

60 to go, they form three wide for the lead. AJ Allmendinger wins the battle for now on the inside lane with a push from Truex Jr.

51 to go, Kyle Busch and Corey Lajoie form side by side for the lead.

49 to go, Hamlin has a run on LaJoie. He dives inside, Hamlin to the lead. Hamlin leads the outside lane, Busch leads the inside.

39 to go, Kyle Busch loses the nose in dirty air and brushes the wall off turn two. He keeps it rolling.

37 to go, David Ragan shoves Logano to the lead as they lead a new charge on the inside lane.

23 to go

23 to go, green flag pit stops are underway.

17 to go, Chastain cycles to the lead with Logano on his bumper.

15 to go, Chastain throws a block on Logano and they all lose momentum. Daniel Suarez to the lead on the inside.

12 to go, three wide for the lead!

9 to go, Chastain throws a block on Keselowski to hold the lead. Keselowski cuts to the inside. Bowman shoves Byron and Byron wiggles into the right rear of Keselowski. Keselowski is turned in front of the field! Logano, Blaney, Suarez, Truex Jr, Hamlin and others are collected. 18 cars are involved.

Green, Chastain and Byron run side by side into turn one.

3 to go, they remain even at the front.

2 to go, Byron wins the battle on the inside as the outside lane loses momentum.

Coming to the white flag, Chastain has a huge run on Byron. Byron throws a block, Chastain pulls to the inside and he tries to split between Byron and Briscoe. He’s out of room as Cindric wiggles with a bump draft from LaJoie, Chastain is around in the tri-oval! The caution is out and this race is over.

William Byron wins the Daytona 500!
