NASCAR tv ratings for the race at Daytona International Speedway
On Monday, the NASCAR Cup Series hosted their 2024 season opener. The race was postponed following Sunday’s rain shower at Daytona International Speedway.

That’s down from 8,173,000 in the 2023 showing.
However, the last time the Daytona 500 was impacted by weather was in 2021. That race was seen by just 4,830,000.
The 2024 Daytona featured a record paying purse of $28,035,991.
Thursday’s Duel races were viewed by 1,640,000. It the was the number one sports telecast of the day. It was the most-viewed event since 2020. Last year’s numbers were 1,535,000.
Friday’s NASCAR Truck Series race was seen by 1,057,000. That marks the best event since 2021, topping last year’s numbers of 1,027,000.
