Following an appeal the penalties issued to all three drivers has been adjusted
The World Racing Group Appeals Commission has heard appeals of penalties issued to Bobby Pierce, Devin Moran and Kyle Bronson. All three penalties were issued as tire tests failed.
The Appeals Commission is a panel of independent industry personnel.
The panel has stated that the tires did fail to meet the benchmark. However, after hearing statements from the drivers and/or owners, the penalties have been adjusted.
Following the ruling, the 30 day suspensions for all three drivers have been lifted. Drivers will still need to pay the fine for the suspensions to be lifted.
However, all three are now on probation. Further violations while result in harsher penalties.
