Driver/crew chief pairings set for the new Haas Factory Team
Stewart-Haas Racing has closed their doors following the 2024 season. For 2025, Gene Haas will be the single owner of the newly formed Haas Factory Team.
Haas Factory Team: Gene Haas to remain NASCAR team owner
Haas will operate with 1 NASCAR Cup Series charter. Cole Custer will be the driver to the Cup Series team.
Additionally, the team will field two Xfinity Series entries. Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer will pilot those machines.
Haas Factory Team will have an alliance with both RSS Racing and AM Racing in 2025.
Driver/Crew Chief Pairings
Aaron Kramer was formerly announced as the crew chief for Cole Custer and the No. 41 team in 2025. Kramer previously worked with RFK Racing.
Jonathan Toney will be the crew chief for Sheldon Creed. The 2023 championship winning crew chief joins the team after working with Joe Gibbs Racing.
Jason Trinchere will be paired with Sam Mayer. Trinchere has picked up multiple wins as a crew chief.
“That whole [Xfinity] program is looking very similar and we believe we’ll be starting where we left off,” Joe Custer stated via SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
