15 drivers who have made NASCAR Cup Series starts in 2025 are missing from the roster
NASCAR has finally kicked EA to the curb. A new era of NASCAR gaming is coming this Fall 2025 featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series.
And this time, it’s being developed by iRacing, the popular online Motorsports sim developer.
The game will be released on multiple consoles. That includes a release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 15th, 2025. The game is also expected to come to PC and Stream though a release date has not been set for those platforms.
45 drivers are on the official NASCAR Cup Series roster for the game. However, 15 more drivers have made starts this season and are not included on the Cup Series driver roster for the game.

Most notably, that includes Katherine Legge (5 starts), Jesse Love (4 starts) and Connor Zilisch (3 starts). For Love and Zilisch, those drivers are in a current battle for the 2025 Xfinity title. For Zilisch, that’s one of the more interesting changes given we have proof that he was in the game at some point.
In recent months, the game has been in and out of the NASCAR garage area with real-world NASCAR drivers testing. Drivers have been playing it with screenshots from game play surfacing on the internet.
In several of those screenshots, Connor Zilisch was shown in the lineup for NASCAR Cup Series competition. However, with the official roster release, Zilisch is not included.
It remains possible that these drivers will still be in the game. They could come as a DLC add-on in the future but that’s not confirmed.
