Kevin Harvick sells Charlotte mansion after buying ‘Talladega Nights’ home

NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick has sold the South Charlotte house

In October 2023, Kevin and wife DeLana Harvick purchased a separate home on Lake Norman, also in North Carolina. The home was previously made famous as it was featured in the movie ‘Talladega Nights’.

The home featured in the movie has six-bedrooms contained in the 12,042-square-foot residence. It was originally listed for $9.9M.

He bought the ‘Talladega Nights’ mansion for $6.75M. But, that left him with a surplus of homes in the Charlotte area.

South Charlotte home sold

Harvick listed the South Charlotte home in late 2024 for the price of $12M. He eventually sold the home in March for the price of $9.825 million.

To be clear, this is not the same home from ‘Talladega Nights’.

It sits on 4.5 acres of land in Mecklenburg County. Square footage of the main house in addition to the two out parcels bring it to a total of 13,000sq feet of living space.

Harvick purchased the property in South Charlotte back in 2014 for $3.34M.

Harvick began his NASCAR career in 2001. He became a 60-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series and picked up the season championship in 2014.

He retired following the 2023 season. He’s since become a member of the FOX broadcast booth.
