NASCAR driver buys ‘Talladega Nights’ mansion

The home has been sold for $6.75 million

Kevin Harvick has purchased the home of Ricky Bobby.

The North Carolina house was first introduced to the racing community via the ‘Talladega Nights’ film. It was the scene for the famous dinner scene featuring Ricky Bobby.

It was previously sold in 2018. And it’s since been renovated.

It’s a 12,000 square-foot home located in Cornelius, North Carolina. It features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a four car garage and a boat dock.

Harvick finalized the purchase of the home in October. The home was sold for $6.75 million.

The sale price came well under the original asking price of $8.4 million.

Kevin Harvick recently ran his last race as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver. Over his 23-year career the driver has collected 60 wins over an 826 race resume.

For 2024, Harvick is joining the FOX Sports broadcast booth. He’ll cover the NASCAR Cup Series for half of the season.

The future Hall of Fame driver has tentative plans to run Xfinity and Trucks. He recently restarted Kevin Harvick Inc with a super late model effort but hasn’t ruled out the idea of running Xfinity or Trucks in coming years.
