Indycar qualifying is on deck at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Today’s session will lock in positions 13-30 on the starting grid.

Indy 500 TV Schedule

Indycar qualifying is a four lap run. The average speed of all four laps will set the official time.

The top 12 will run again on Sunday and set the pole position. The bottom four cars will also fight for the final three spots with one car failing to make the race.

Marcus Armstrong crashed in the morning practice. Colton Herta crashed on his first lap of qualifying. For Herta, the backup car was unloaded and he was still able to lock into the Indy 500.
