RCR has signed Kyle Busch into a 1-year extension
After 20 straight years with Joe Gibbs Racing, Kyle Busch went looking for a new ride ahead of the 2023 NASCAR season.
He signed a three-year deal with Richard Childress Racing. That deal was set to expire at the end of this season.
Now, the can has been kicked down the road. Kyle Busch has signed a 1-year contract extension through the 2026 season.
He’ll join teammate Austin Dillon in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Kyle Busch set a timeline on his career
Earlier this month, Kyle Busch discussed retirement and goals in the coming years.
“If I got four more years left, lets just say, I’d like to run five more year because that will put me in the bracket of age with then Brexton,” Kyle Busch stated via Actions Detrimental.
“If I can get above 70 [wins], that would be perfect.”
“For anybody really, with this Next Gen car and everybody wrecking on final restarts and all this B.S. If you can have a three or four races win season and make it to the championship 8, that is a good season.”
