Watch the video the NASCAR fight below.
At the end of stage two, Ty Gibbs threw a block on RFK Racing driver Chris Buescher into turn 11. Buescher elected to roll off the brake.
Gibbs was pushed through turn 11. He didn’t spin but he lost several positions.
Moments later, on the pit stop at the end of the stage, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Ty Gibbs came very close to the tire carrier of the No. 6 car, another RFK Racing car.
The car actually clipped the tire while it was in the hands of the carrier. That crew member was Telvin Mcclurkin.
Immediately after the stop, the tire carrier walked over to the pit box of Gibbs to confront the crew. That led to a brief fight.
NASCAR officials were forced to step in and separate the crew members.
Video of the altercation has surfaced. RFK Racing released their own video with the caption, “You be the judge.”

Ty Gibbs comments
After the race, Ty Gibbs commented on the situation:
“By NASCAR’s rules, I’m the lead car because I’m the pit box passed him,” Ty Gibbs explained to TNT Sports.
“And I’m in front of him as well, these orange lines as you can see, if I’m behind him, I have to go around those orange lines. And going in, I have the right of way.”
“They’re on the wall for a reason. They jumped for a reason to kind of get out of the way. Those guys like to push it and that’s kind of the consequence you pay. So, that’s unfortunate for them that they got a penalty.”
“Nothing malicious, it’s my right of way.”
