Watch the Jonny Kievman vs Joey Coulter video from Carteret County Speedway
On Saturday night, the SMART Modified Tour went racing at Carteret County Speedway in Swansboro, North Carolina. The HANS device went flying…
Jonny Kievman and Joey Coulter were in a battle for position. Coulter made a dive to the inside and the two made contact.
Kievman stated after the incident that it was a dive-bomb. Coulter completely disagreed, noting that he was there and turned into.
Kievman climbed from his car and met Coulter under the red flag. With the HANS device in hand, he began beating it against the front windshield. After multiple swings, he then aimed for the air cleaner.
Members of Coulter’s crew then ran onto the track.
On Wednesday, the SMART Modified Tour elected to issue multiple penalties…
Kievman has been suspended for the next three races. He’ll also be on probation once the suspension is lifted.
Crew chief for Coulter, Harold Holly has also been handed a $750 fine for the crew members that ran onto the track.
