Green flag, Thornton Jr gets the jump. They form three wide for 2nd behind them. Pierce fights them off to hold 2nd on the top.
62 to go, Thornton Jr has caught the tail of the field.
34 to go, Thornton Jr leads Pierce by 1 second. They’re both glued to the bottom lane.
27 to go, Pierce heads for the cushion. After a lap, he drops back to the bottom.
20 to go, laps cars run three wide ahead of the race leader. Pierce moves back to the top.
10 to go, the caution is out.
Green, Thornton Jr leads Pierce and Shirley.
