Daytona 500 schedule released for NASCAR’s season-opener
NASCAR’s season-opening race is set to return to Daytona Beach, Florida. The race will be run on Saturday, February 13th, 2027.
The Clash made it’s debut in 1979 at Daytona International Speedway. It remained at the 2.5-mile track until 2021. It made a single run on the Daytona Road Course in 2021 before switching venues.
Between 2022-2024, the race was run on a temporary built track inside the LA Coliseum. And for the last two years, the race has been run at Bowman Gray Stadium.
Now, the race it returning to its roots. The 2.5-mile oval of Daytona International Speedway will host The Clash ahead of the famed Daytona 500.
