Eleven NASCAR Cup Series Teams will miss practice time to serve penalties

Kentucky Speedway inspection issues for 11 NASCAR teams – Penalty served at NHMS
Both Kyle Larson as well as Clint Bowyer will serve the strictest of the penalties. Each of these teams will sit on the sidelines in Saturday’s final practice round at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Larson and Bowyer are serving penalties from last weekend at Kentucky Speedway. They each failed pre-race inspection.
These two drivers are serving the strictest of the penalties. However, they aren’t the only one’s missing practice time.
Landon Cassill, Gray Gaulding, Cole Whitt and Michael McDowell will miss 15 minutes of Friday practice. This penalty was issued for showing up late to pre-race inspection last week at Kentucky Speedway.
Still not done.
Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, Jeffrey Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr will miss 15 minutes of final practice at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. These drivers failed pre-race inspection more than once ahead of last weekend’s MENCS race at Kentucky.
