Round 1
JR Nation should be excited! Dale Earnhardt Jr to the top of the board in round 1. He held the position, fastest overall in round 1 of single car qualifying.
All 4 Hendrick Motorsports race cars will transfer to round 2. Danica Patrick missed the transfer, by 1 spot.
Drivers are taking an interesting aprouch to qualifying this year. Most every driver in the final round is driving with 1 hand, for the whole lap. Their left hand is at the window net. There’s a gap between the a-post and where the window net starts, the drivers are closing that gap and electing to drive single handed.
Dale Earnhardt Jr is the last driver to turn a lap. He crosses the line well in the green. The crowd erupts!
